Introduction
VoxVei Inc. (“VoxVei,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates VoxVei(the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive basic profile information permitted by that provider.
Project content. Manuscripts, notes, assist files, uploads, and other materials you create or import in the Service are stored to provide editing, collaboration, export, and AI-assisted writing features.
Usage and billing data. We record feature usage, token consumption, AI model selections, subscription status, and related billing events to operate the Service, enforce plan limits, and maintain accurate invoices.
Technical data. We may collect log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps to secure the Service, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and protect accounts;
- Process AI-assisted writing, review, import, and export requests you initiate;
- Enforce plan quotas, rate limits, and acceptable use policies;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions when billing is enabled;
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
AI processing
When you use AI features, relevant portions of your project content and prompts may be transmitted to third-party model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Mistral) solely to fulfill your request. We do not sell your manuscript content. Provider handling is governed by their terms and our agreements with them.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit to AI features complies with applicable law and does not include sensitive personal data you are not authorized to share.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, authentication, payment processing, and AI inference), when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale with appropriate safeguards.
Data retention and security
We retain account and project data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete projects or request account deletion subject to applicable law and operational requirements.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@voxvei.com.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
